Being a Trustee of The Milverton Trust means taking an active role in shaping the future of our village. Trustees are the people who guide the charity’s work — ensuring that everything we do supports Milverton’s heritage, environment and community life.
As a Trustee, you’ll:
Help set the direction of the Trust and make key decisions about grants, events and village projects
Represent local people, bringing your knowledge, ideas and connections to ensure our work reflects what Milverton needs
Take care of the Trust’s resources, making sure funds are used wisely and in line with our charitable aims
Work as part of a team, review progress and celebrate successes
Act as an ambassador, promoting the Trust and helping engage others — from volunteers and local groups to future “Friends”
Trustees don’t need specialist knowledge — just commitment, common sense, and a genuine interest in making Milverton a better place for everyone.
